Hi everyone new to the forum.
I believe i have the Touch screen Blaupunkt Travelpilot EX installed in my 2011 S-Max, could anyone advise how to update the maps/firmware etc etc?
Im new to Ford ownership so any advice would be great.

Level of detail in Garmin maps for Kenwood
I bought a new Ram 1500 base model in December and put in a DNX995S earlier this month. I am basically happy with te truck and radio but was surprised to have two residential addresses fail to come up in a search (so far). Both come up on my portable Garmin. Is the map detail less in the Kenwood units or something?
Assuming it is an issue like this, would a map update on a SD card (the process for this unit) resolve it? I don't like to update garmins because I bricked a portable unit once using Garmin Express. But if it would solve my map detail issue, it would seem worth the risk.

Linear Compass Font Size too small
I have Igo Primo WinCE in my car. I like it very much, One thing I don't like is when in a route it does not show direction of travel. To try to solve this I added the linear compass as a data field. The problem is the font size is really tiny and virtually unreadable while driving. Is it possible to edit the linear compass to make the font size a couple points bigger. I don't know where to start. Thanks

Bonjour , pour information cette version ne contient apparemment pas les "Radars" :-( Je vous conseille récupérer ceux contenus dans la version "Carminat 8.843+Europe_1025" et de les copier dans cette version afin qu'ils soient efficaces ( les radars contenus dans la version "Carminat 8.843+Europe_1035" sont à éviter car il créent des disfonctionnement du GPS ( "Reboot" permanent du logiciel GPS :-( )

Reading through these pages, they seem to be updates for maps that are already installed. How do you get the maps installed in the first place so that you can update them ? Or does it have to go to a dealer. Thanks in advance.

RNS 510 best burner
Hey guys I want to buy a new burner or a used one if old burners are better for this. Which one would be the best possible solution for RNS 510 navigation dvds? I need one that can write low speeds(1x) and change booktype to DVD ROM. This old one I have TSST-something is giving me a lot of CD/DVD ERRORS lately. I am a car seller and I burn these discs by myself and lately i have noticed that it happens a lot more that my cars with rns 510 wont accept either a dvd dual layer or normal compressed 4.7gb with maps, btw i use both verbatim dvd dual or normal. Which burners work for you and would you recommend? Thanks.
