The more I read the more I confuse myself.
I'm currently running Avast Free Antivirus, AVG Antivirus Free plus a craqued version of IObit Malware Fighter and a craqued Zemana AntiMalware all at the same time.
None seem to slow my PC down and each has individually & separately flagged up different problems/viruses etc from various "suspect" downloads etc from various websites I visit. Very often these are actually where I'm trying to grab licences/craques etc for other AV/AM programs.
Do I want/need all/any of these running?
I've also tried Panda but that was sooooo slooooow loading and running that I dumped it and have also tried HitmanPro, Avira, Malwarebytes & Bitdefender (nice & compact but no choices regarding "allow this download/run this program etc") and I'm just not sure how many of which (AntiMalware OR Antivirus) I can safely run alongside each other before causing them to trip over each other.
As you will realise, I know a bit about metas & .dcts etc but not much about this stuff so the more experienced recommendations you can offer, the better (or even more confused I'll get:))))
