Does anybody know how to update the gps of a mitsubishi outlander.
I have poor information about the system.
Only the software version, thats AI, and map version, thats 2015 a.

Navocore on external sd for tomtom 950

Yesterday i found a problem with my tomtom go 950.
even if working perfectly, windows 10 did not recognize the internal memory.

so, i decided to format the unit in fat32, and install again everything. (using tthome).

if i put the nacvore on the EXTERNAL sd, no problem: everything works, and maps on the internal memory work.

if i try to put the navcore on the Internal memory, according to tthome it is ok, but once i try to restart the unit it doesnt work.

so, something happened, and i need always to have the external sd inside.

what can i do to fix the problem?
the bootloader is 5.5279

i have a problem with the navcore of a tomtom go 950, and need to understand some concepts possibly with a guidance.

the unit was fully ok, but my windows 10 did not recognise the INTERNAL memory.

So, i decided to format it (FAT 32).

after the reset i connected the tomtom to tomtom home.

if i install the navcore on the EXTERNAL unit, no problem. i can use the maps even if they are on the internal unit.

if i try to install the navcore on the INTERNAL memory, the unit does not work.

So, could you please explain with a tutorial if there is a way to move the navcore back from external to internal unit?

or, do i need to clear some settings some way?

any help is welcome.

Hi there, I'm pretty new at getting maps onto my unit, but have done just the maps part (like gmapprom and gmapsupp files), so that much I understand.

I am about to update my Nuvi 3790T with the most current NA maps, and had some questions about which JCV files I should be copying over to my unit's memory. Currently, the unit only has one JCV file in its directory, which is dated 2010.

I see the new maps come with lots of JCV's. I'm wondering which ones I should copy over?

1 - LaneAssistFull
2 - LaneAssistMedium
3 - Full-Screen
4 - LaneAssistPortraitFull
5 - Split-Screen
6 - Nuvi-40,50-Android
7 - PreProgrammedLaneAssistTemplatePortrait - nuvi 6x

As well, I had a question about naming conventions for when you want to have multiple maps on your SD card. I want to put the most recent Europe maps on an SD card, and know that if it was just one IMG file, it would be easy. I'd just have to call it gmapsupp. But the maps seem to come in a few files, which are currently:

gmapprom
gmapprom_0
gmapprom_1
gmapprom_2

Renaming the first one to gmapsupp gets it to appear, but it's just the Nordic maps. I've tried renaming the other files stuff like gmapsupp1 or gmapsupp_1, but the unit didn't recognize them. I've read in some links that on an SD card, it can only recognize one gmapsupp file. Is that correct, or is there a way to do it?

If it's not possible to have all the maps show up in the unit, what do people do? Put all the files on the SD card, and when they want to use a different map, rename it gmapsupp, and rename the existing gmapsupp as something else?

I have a C4 PII with the latest map (2016-2) and firmware (Smeg+: 5.41.B.R4)
I want to add the date on my big info-screen (have only time in left corner) and want to change the color and thickness of the routeline (now small and blue (like a river or lake)).
Is this possible? (cheatcode or somethinhg like that).

WINDOWS Detecting satellites with WinCE6 Emulator

I am emulating my Primo 2.4 in the WinCE6 Emulator, the emulation works fine except it would NOT actually detect any satellites. I have a USB Ublox GPS receiver Ublox Gmouse Glonass GPS USB Receiver Locator Windows 10 8 7 Vista Google Earth | eBay installed on my PC and it is fully functional. I also added the proper Port and Baud statements in my Primo sys.txt file and it still wouldn't detect any satellites. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Language file at Garmin marine chartplotter

As you should know it is possible to upgrade at Garmin road units the language file and by it to have at your car portable Garmin unit the menu in your local language. Has anybody an experience making same upgrade for Garmin marine chartpoltters? The difference in this, that in car unit is a micro usb port, but at marine unit you should probably do everything over micro SD.
