Hi Guys ,
Is there anyone done making conversion of Nuvi 67/68 US to 67 APAC version successfully ?
When I tried to flash it with updater program after converting it to be RGN File , it's showing system software missing , and it's not booting .
I just checked and see that the Mfn PN is not the same
For 67/68 US , PN is 010-01399-04
For 67 APAC , PN is 010-01399-70
And also once I tried to open the file on the RGNTools , the HW ID is not the same
HWID for 67/68 US on 4.40 Firmware is 2088
HWID For 67 APAC on 2.30 Firmware is 2298
Is there anyway , we can do to convert it to be APAC version ??
Please help to advise and comment .

Hello All,
I have a gmapsupp.img file which I created by combining City Navigagtor NT 2010 and Topo West 24K. The City Navigator is unlocked version. I tried loading the img file on a 16 gb micro sd card and inserted it into my Garmin 60 CSX unit. I then used Garmin Unlock Generator v1.5 to create a unlock code for the img file. My GPS id is 3820171259 and my custom mapset FID is 450. I copied the 25 digit code on a notepad and saved it as gmapsupp.unl file. However when I start the gps unit, I dont see anything other than the base map. Is there anything I am doing wrong. Please help. I can upload my img file but it is around 3.5 GB. So please give me suggestions on how to resolve this.

Hi,
I installed IGO Primo Nextgen version: 9.18.27.658108
and i want to add some maps.
in the past i had map folder, i put there all the maps file and it worked
now i cant find the map folder so i wonder how can i add maps?

Delete everything from your internal disk on the C device. Do the download of the unlock and just copy all the files/folders in the download [just as they are] to the internal disk. Copy the program to your SD card. Add contents [maps and such].
To use the unlock, press the Miomap button when the device starts and it will switch to the unlock.
I've been told that this unlock works with MOOV and Spirits. BUT I've never tried it [I have a MIO C320] so proceed at your own risk. Please post your results.

Hi
I'm a newbie and apart from my introduction post, this is my first query.
Own a Nuvi 3895 with lifetime map updates.Bought it in 2013 and have updated maps once.
Am due to travel around Europe in the next week and thought I'd update the maps. However, can't get Garmin to connect to Garmin Express.
Dowloaded the latest GE, and, after advice from the Garmin tech support, went into the diagnosis menu and set it to mass storage device. But I still can't get GE to add the device.
The device isn't seen on the computer. I'm using a Garmin data cable (not just a charging cable) and have also tried other USB data cables, all the rear and front ports of my pc, and also unsuccessfully, tried on my Mac Air with the latest GE Mac download. The Garmin isn't seen on the Mac either.
By searching here, I've seen reference to damaged USB socket/plug but if the Garmin charges from the USB cable as it does, can this be the problem?
Garmin support has offered to replace the device for over £100 but it takes over two weeks and we set off early next week. Anything I can try?

I'm trying to automate the process of creating the radar control POI updates for SMEG, SMEG+, SMEG IV2 and RT6, but I'm stuck at repacking the ZAR_POI.BIN file.
For some reason the SMEG is rejecting the update with an error message when I repack the ZAR_POI.BIN file after updating the POI's, but this also happens when I don't update the POI's but just repack the file. I'm using RTXcrc to update the ZAR_POI.BIN.inf file afterwards, which produces the correct CRC.
These are the current steps I do:

I keep reading that ZAR_POI.BIN is an LZW compressed file, but I don't know how to recreate this type of file. Whenever I open it up in 7-Zip, it opens it without problems as a regular gzip-file.
How can I repack the ZAR_POI.BIN file?

Hello to all
Need some help
I've installed IGo in my SD card. All good so far. It works really well, except that i don't know why. It changes the hour from the Car. As navigation/radio i have a clarion nx501.
So basically the hour in the GPS is correct. But even if manually i change the hour of the Clarion. Every time i run the GPS it changes the hour of the car to a different timezone, like 10 hours difference,
I've disconnected already the auto-sync in time definitions to put all manually, but doesn't work either. Every time i connect the GPS, the hour changes to a very different timezone.
It sounds to me there's some file in the IGO that defines this i don't know.
Anybody can help me

I've got a SMEG/SMEG+/SMEG IV2 radar control POI update, which contains a lot of files and folders. Using my SMEG+ I've stripped all files and directories that are not required for *my* system to successfully install the update. This leaves me with the following files/directories:
- DATA
- BASE1
- ZAR_POI.BIN
- ZAR_POI.BIN.inf
- BASE2
- ZAR_POI.BIN
- ZAR_POI.BIN.inf
- SMEG_PLUS_UPG
- contract.dat
- UpgPlugin.out
- UpgPlugin.out.inf
However, any changes that I make to any of the ZAR_POI.BIN.inf files, results in the upgrade to fail.

Changing a number in the date, or changing the provider or the media name all results in the error message that the upgrade file is not eligible for copy. For some reason it looks like there is some kind of CRC-check applied to at least these files. But since I've stripped all files and directories that are not required, there are no other files that can provide information about the CRC of these files. The files in SMEG_PLUS_UPG directory haven't changed since a year (they are the same every month) and the ZAR_POI.BIN.inf is changed every month.
So, why is changing the ZAR_POI.BIN.inf causing the upgrade to fail?
