How can I get the software to search for an address in a different language while using english interface text ?
I am tried to use the Hebrew keyboard to search for addresses while having the text of the interface in English, and nothing was found.
I am using Israel maps.
If I change the text to Hebrew, it finds the addresses if the hebrew keyboard is used, but not if the english keyboard is used.

Is there any way of patching the system so it will recognize what is typed in a different language than the interface text?

This is important to me, since transliterated street names have no standard way of spelling, and are not found if not typed the way it is spelled on the map. If I would be able to search in hebrew, this problem would be solved.

I also have an Igo GPS and I am able to do this, but not with garmin.

If there is no turning in a mile or two ahead, Nextgen switches to overview when I'm on a motorway. That's good.

What I want it to do is to do the same when I'm on a road. I can't find any menu setting to enable this.

Is there a command I can put into sys.txt to make this happen?

I want iGo Nextgen to plan routes that avoid the London Emission Zone, but switching off the "Environmental Zone" toggle doesn't do this. I'm using Next 2016 Q2 maps. Is there anything else I can do to avoid it planning routes through the LEZ?

Anyone know how large the Trip and Track files can get?

I'm off to Montenegro on the bike in a couple of weeks, and I wanted to keep these files for posterity lets say. I'm using Primo 2.4 on Wince device, and will be doing around 3.5/4k miles. How large would the files be?

Hello everybody !
I have wrote this post : here, and the thank for Neil to answer me, but i am still can't do anything with this .Img file

when i open the img file (that i have found inside map folder) with Gmap tool the program make the mapset as "other data" and don't give me any details about the map

when i open the img file with ImgTool it gives me :"the file gmapsupp.img is not a valid garmin img file

i am sure this img is a valid file because i have only 1 map in my device and i have 1 img file in map folder

i have found a .w6j file with this name "gmapsupp.img.w6j" in map folder,

i want to transfer this map to my new device, but when i paste the .img file from the old device to the new one the map don't show, and there's no notification when i turn the new device on

i don't know what to do in real

Hi I have a XXL that has no Itinerary planning icon and no show more Icons either. Tomtom told me that is doesn't have that but I think that might be wrong I have owned this unit for few years then a while back TT Home2 did an upgrade and that option was gone I believe it was there before the upgrade

So can someone please tell me if it should have the Itinerary Icon on this model or not. And if so will changing the navcore to an older one help?

Hi all,
I'm new on here and could do with a little guidance (pun intended) to get me started.

I have just installed a Chinese Double din head unit in to the motor. (Xtrons 966 dab, runs wince6)
The navigation, when it starts up says
IGO, my way, Primo.
Good start lol.
My initial questions are .........
1. How do I find out which version Im running?
2. none of the voices will announce Street names? Thats TTS right?, any way to get that working.
3. If i bought an eBay version will that get TTS working or will i still have to delve into the inner workings?

Its on an 8gb Micro SD card which I guess at some stage I'm going to have to put in the adaptor and then in to my Mac.

Am not totally computer illiterate, just Igo illiterate.

Hi,

Is there a table that tells me which navcore versions I can use with each bootloader version ?

I tried to update the navecore in a One with S/N PE... (tomtom uk says it is a "ONE 30 Series, 1GB, TomTom HOME") with BootLoaderVersion=10103 (didn't try to update the bl of course) with the Universal Navcore Installer choosing the 32 Mb option, it installed ok but then the TT did not boot.

In the end updating the navcore was not needed, the installed navcore was good to install a 975 map, but I'd like to know if there is a way to choose a navcore based in the boot loader version.

I have compiled a Android iGO_Israel version for Android 5.0.1 and 5.1.1 car devices with SDcard method. I can not test it myself, because I do not own these device. Please let me know if you like to test it on SDcard. For Android car devices I have allready a working version compiled for Internal method. That is the Barasoft version, but I need to know if SDcard method works. And I need to know of iGO_Israel works on Android Car devices.

It is VR version. NEXTGEN ISRAEL 9.18.27.658108 ( Jun 15, 2016 )
