custom img map zoom levels

ok, been struggling with this for a while (ok ages) and hunted for info or tips but couldn't find anything.
so time to ask for help. :)
For a while I've been making custom maps for my gpsmap62 originally as kmz, then jnx files, then merged jnx, and most recently as ".img" maps to layer on top of the built in maps. (i.e. I can render high detail footpath maps using mobile atlas for the areas I'm going to run in and convert with mobat2jnx->jnxcustomizer->jnx2img, ok not the slickest of workflows but does the trick)
As jnx files these work ok when the level is set appropriately and only appear at (e.g) 500ft zoom level. But as img files they render at all zoom levels and so take precedence over any other maps.
(ideally I'd like to be able to merge these into the same img map so I can use them to plan out and work inside basecamp with the 3d dem, able to zoom in and out to high detail and out to basic mapping etc without needing to toggle the maps)
So the questions:
1. am I doing it wrong, is there are better way to create an img file or should this sequence work and I've got something wrong somewhere.
2. is there any tool I haven't found yet that can adjust the zoom levels and visibility levels of maps inside .img containers?
2b. I looked at the current .img file reverse engineered documentation to try to see if there was a simple header setting for zoom level visibility, but couldn't see it other than the "precedence" value which doesn't seem to be correct. Is this data buried further down inside the GMP files?

Navigation freezes after 2019 update
I've updated the navigation of my Kia Venga to the 2019 version (previously 2016), which went fine. But the navi system now freezes from time to time. Which means: I cannot set and do anything, including the radio function. The whole touchscreen isn't responding anymore. WhenI switch off the car and start the engine again, everything works again.
The moments it occur are random, so totally inconvenient.
- does anyone know how to solve this?
- Is it possible to downgrade to the 2018 version (tried this, but USB didn't allow me to)
- When will the 2020 update version be available? Probably this solves the issue.

RNS 510 frozen on Radio screen
Hi all, yesterday while i was parking my Superb, i've noticed that the OPS wasn't showing on the RNS 510, it just stayed on the Radio screen, i've immediatly notices that the Audio of the Radio was dead too. So i've tried to turn it off, but with no luck, it just stays on the Radio screen, can't go on NAV or Media either (All the buttons are dead), the touch is dead and the Audio too, basically he doesn't do nothing anymore. The Soft Reset with the buttons sequence (< > + i) doesn't solve the problem. So i've decided to reinstall the sw with the DVD, but sadly, it show the message SWL ERROR EcuOrder.txt - Error Reading the HW Vers, tried several times with several versions of sw (5238 - 3810a - 2660) everytime same error.

I wanted to install this card : NORTH_EAST_EASTERN_EUROPE !
A view of the navigation system screens when that happens.
Erasing the "Russia" cartography and installing the last desired map.

When i try to unpack the files i get a unsufficient memory from winrar and i have 300gb free on my harddisk? Is the map so large or is the rar file damaged maybe. Anyone had this same problem?

RNS-510 install map to disk without success
I have a problem with my RNS-510 radio, so far everything worked great, the radio and navigation that was on the hard disk, but I decided to upload new software from josi, which installation was also successful, the radio works, the only problem I have is uploading a map of Westeurope V16, it works correctly from the DVD, but during installation the strip comes to an end after about 45 minutes, and then again begins to install again and again over and over again, normally the line always comes to the end removing the DVD and ready, does anyone know why is that happening

IGO Primo for 9601 7inch generic china head unit - need dump
Hi. Two days ago I bought one of those china head units - 7 inch 1 din 9601G WinCE unit.
The unit comes with GPS and GPS software that comes on 8GB MicroSD card.
The problem is that after 2 days the GPS stopped working. The unit only show a white screen and black plus that moves when I tap on the display. Everything else works perfectly. I think that the problem is corrupted SD card, on which the software is.
Please, could you give me some tips? I would greatly appreciate if someone could provide me with a SD memory card dump for this unit.
Also, if someone has a FW dump for this unit, I would be extremely grateful.
There is no option to set NAV PATH on this unit and the navigation software is on the memory card, but for some reason the unit refuses to load it.
