I used IGO Nextgen Basar 9.18.27.717219 until January 21, 2018. That day the phone manufacturer sent me the phone software update. Since then, IGO Nextgen navigation has not work. I have SONY Xperia G8142, android 8.0.0. Oreo.

I uninstalled the navigation and next time reinstalled. When IGO started, only this screen will appear and the IGO will freeze. Next I must mobile be restarted. The next time I run a only black screen appears and nothing . I tried instal iGO nextgen NNG 9.8.27.719974, failure again.

Please help me. I ask, has anyone an idea ? And I have a question about the guru of this great forum: What data IGO downloaded after new instalations ?

WolfNCU version 4.1f- Alternative menu for devices with WindowsCE:
81cd4caa3e7255cb

WolfNCU is a program that does not change the basic interface of your device but just adds it.
Allows the use of different WindowsCE software including navigation programs.
You can have one, two or more navigation programs and use them if necessary, but only for one, that is default, WolfNCU disables / excludes, disconnect / GPS receiver, to use it from navigation!
WolfNCU gives you information on the speed, direction, altitude and in the 4th version is a built-in mp3 player.
Currently, this is ready and tested compilation for device with name of internal memory SDMMC, GpsPort=COM7, GpsSpeed=57600, ARM processor and screen resolution 800x480.

Installation method:

1. If the specifications on your device ( SDMMC, GpsPort, GpsSpeed, processor and screen resolution) match the above, must be copy the entire contents of a folder "This folder is SDMMC" in the root directory of your device.

2. Of your device set the path:
SDMMC\WolfNCU\WolfNCU.exe

3. Put your navigation software into a folder "MobileNavigator" as the executable file rename to do so "mobilenavigator.exe"

4. In the folders Image, MP3 and Video you can copy media files, as for their auditioning viewing, use built-in players (programs)

Everything (name of internal memory (SDMMC) GpsPort, GpsSpeed) except model of processor and screen resolution can be changed according to your device in the files with extension .ini, situated in the folder WolfNCU!

For the different processors are needed different files .dll (libraries) which you can acquire, if use the file wolfplus_v4.1f.exe to install the required version of the program.

Installation method using installer wolfplus_v4.1f.exe:

1. Start the EXE file and choose a language - The default is English
2. Set the path to the memory, where you will install
3. Choose "Full installation" and the type of your processor - This step is important because EXE copies the different .dll files for the different processors:
a) ARM b) MIPS CPU c) PC / intel / amd / cpu
4. Set the path to the appropriate programs - if any. If the programs are added later, the paths are done by .ini and can also be from the menu of the already installed WolfNCU.
5. Uncheck the option "Whether to replace the file"
6. Running the installation and Finish
7. After Finish must be copy the folder Skin from:
This folder is SDMMC\WolfNCU\Skin
and replace the existing one, because it is empty!

After finishing, you must change all values in .ini and set yours!
By default, they are GpsPort=COM2 and GpsSpeed=9600

There are skins for other resolutions, except for 1024x600 and if necessary, I will post them.

I have managed to get iGO 9.18.27.717219 to I guess start on my phone, but all that I get is a black screen. Is there something in the sys.txt file I can set so that logging is on and I can see what is happening, or is this an issue with an easy fix?

Hello everybody.
I just post a little tutorial on gps sygic truck, also works for others.
(sorry for mistakes, I use google translation)
how to use the free official version for life and have the traffic info:
preferably own a second phone.

start from nothing,

☆ reset the phone
install sygic truck with googleplay
Open the application and validate the 14-day trial period.
download the official map and the TTS voices that go with it.

☆ traffic info
go to the sygic store
click on the traffic info
a redirect page will appear for the payment, but you will return to the application. for me, I have a payment validation message while I pay nothing.

Finally. close everything.
go to the clock setting, and change the years to an earlier one
for example from 2018, go to 2000.
your trial period is valid until 2018 while your phone is in the year 2000

and that's it

Hi,

I have 3 deveices with Navigon: one old 8310 GPS, my smartphone with Navigon Android app and my tablet with the same app.
As I am planning a road trip on US West coast in April, I would like to put itinaries on the 3 devices and would try to avoid to do them 3 times!
So I found a SW that issues a .route (or .rte) file from my itinary (ITN converter). It looks OK on my 8310 by using "Routes" folder as I saw the file when lloking for saved itinary (but I am unable to load it, it says that it has an error), and I didn't found how I can do the same with Android app.
Has someone an idea?

Works fine only the background music does not mute during voice instructions while I navigate .

Hello - thank you for accepting me into the forum! My name is Elliott and i'm based in the UK. My question is related to searching a body of water with side scan sonar. I hope I have posted it in the right place, and even the right forum but since so many contributors here will be very tech savvy i'm sure there will be a lot of good advice.

I want to search a body of water with a sonar yo build up a map of the bed and look for interesting objects on the sea floor. The software I have with my sonar is pretty basic and will show a good picture of the sea floor, but will not give any information on a map. So I would plan to use it with a GPS mouse plugged into my laptop and a separate navigation/mapping program.

I want to do this in such a way that I know where I have already searched, so I do not miss any of the bed and do not go over the same place twice. Using sonar to search for underwater objects is termed 'mowing the lawn'. The boat will go back and forth, back and forth etc. until the area is covered completely. I would plan to leave 10-20m between search tracks so nothing is missed. My understanding is that I need navigation tracking software for this, and I would like to run this on a laptop. Ultimately I would like a program that helps me build up an overlay of the area searched, on top of an existing map.

Can anyone advise me how best to do this please? I am looking for an inexpensive if possible!
