I'm new. A friend bought a car with a car stereo Pioneer AVH-5300DVD and GPS AVIC-F130.
The GPS SD card has a problem and I could not read some files:

How to split a garmin unlocked map

Hi everybody,

I've been trying this for a while but with no success so far. The thing is I have this huge 1GB unlocked .img garmin map loaded in Basecamp and I would like to take just one region and save it as another .img file, so I could install it easily on my android mobile and use it with Streetpilot. When I try to install it on my USB drive, it says "No unlocked maps were found for this device."

Is there any way how to make this happen?

[SOLVED] Replacing screen on a nüvi 780

There's a first time for everything. March 18, 2016 marks the day that for the first time I'm attempting to replace the screen on a nüvi 780. I've replaced screens on a variety of nüvi's before, so basic relevant knowledge is present. :wink:

This particular screen has 3 connecting ribbons. Two of them are attached to the PCB by means of the usual "clip" that needs to be lifted (with care!) in order to release the ribbon. The third one I can not make out properly how it is attached to the PCB. As I don't want to force things beyond "simple repair", I'd rather ask here first how to detach this particular ribbon from the PCB. See picture below, showing the ribbon still attached as well as the new screen lying next to the unit. Thanks for any advice! :smile:

DS4 RT6 Echo Problem

All.

I know this has been mentioned in a few posts before. I upgraded (before I knew it would cause a problem) from a very old firmware (about 2.07) to 2.85 and of course got the echo problem. I have tried to take it to a dealer and get it sorted and despite giving them all the info, they didn't know about the config file and how to download it again, despite having to pay £35 for the diagnostic time !!! I read on the ************** forum that a french forum member has a way of fixing the issue, but I cant register on that forum so wondered if anyone here is aware of another possible fix, other than taking it to another dealer and trying again.

Any information greatly appreciated.

WTD...BADLY: A set of maps: Norway to Spain for to download to Streetpilot 2720.........

Hi, I'm planning a trip by car from Norway to Alicante,ES the next weeks and thought I could get my Streetpilot 2720 updated with newer maps..Downloaded CN 2016.20 installed it in my Garmin folder, run it in Mapsource 6.13. and everything crashed....had a lot of maps in the Gamin folder .. usa, atl, europe and more ....no ones comes up...
To make it easy for me..can someone please upload a set of open maps covering the route...Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Italy, Andora, Belgium, Holland to give max upload size of 1,7 or (1,8 Gb), I'm not certain on how much the 2720 will take, but I know it's under 2Gb.... incl. a newer that Mapsource 6.13.7 or newer that will work.. I will then try to get that onto a 2 - 4GB memory stick and transfer it directly to my 2720 .....If You have any detailed tips on who I should do this ....please let me know ..... 28 Hours on the computer now trying to get this done...I'm knackered :-(

Here is the solution to get all TTS Nuance ve1 voices working in iGO Nextgen with all versions.

1) Copy complete folder to root of iGO.
2) Copy everything in voice folder to Content/ voice.
3) Copy License in folder to License folder of iGO.
4) Copy "ve.dll" to root of iGO.

I tested it on several devices. All working with the TTS ve1 voices.
