as you know we do have now almost great package of Japan land contents of Maps & POI and others which belong to car makers use NNG system on their vehicle such as Mazda.. some genie succeed to extract whole CMU of this car, and there we did found NNG folders and fonts folder which are located under JCI both. nng folder had almost w´hat we need include the fonts folder. such data.zip and ux. at data.zip there ui we cant see at other IGO software which belong exactly to Japan. this why we have now one reason that other IGO cant read address of Japan or activated some POI contests.

i start to work around and succeed at some points to handle address . keyboard interface ui. but we still have some issue of slowly or stooped over via Route simulation.

this why i call all experiences forum users to try and port what they can do with LINUX . so we can handle and generate our own IGO JAPAN

three nng firmware LINUX extracted from Mazda CMU firmware. EU = Europe / NA = North America ADR = Australia and south east Asia ( with out Japan )
if some one find for us the (JP ) Japanese Mazda CMU firmware .up will be great so we will have short way to the end,

I cannot find it in our forum and it's an interesting tool :)

Creating a map based on GPX or GDB files for your GPS and for MapSource/BaseCamp on your computer is possible with several existing programs, but it's certainly not easy to accomplish. With IMGfromGPX it's a matter of a few mouse clicks! This program can generate a map with the following features:

tracks in 8 different colors, as lines or areas;
POIs divided into different categories;
POIs are searchable; you can find them in the menu 'Points of interest' (or whatever it is named on your device);
the map is transparent, which enables you to use it simultaneously with another map.
Download a sample map with all possible colours and symbols. They can be found in the proximity of 52° N 5° E. You can install the map with JaVaWa GMTK. The same map, ready to go for your device: gmapsupp.img

System requirements

This program requires Java version 6 or higher on your computer.
Windows users can download Java here. Note for Windows 64-bit users: IMGfromGPX is a 32-bit program, and therefore needs the 32-bit version of Java!

On the Mac it depends on the version of OS X. When you have Leopard (10.5) or Snow Leopard (10.6) and you run Software-update regularly you will have the right version on your Mac.

The version of Java under Tiger is unfortunately not the right one, but on this site Tiger users can acquire a working alternative.
Unfortunately JaVaWa programs are not compatible with the new Mac OS Sierra

Need the most recent version of Java from Oracle? Install the JDK; not the JRE.

How does it work?

You can set a style for POIs and (optionally) a color for tracks for each GPX or GDB file. Split your data in separate GPX or GDB files when you want to have multiple styles. POIs can be provided with additional information (addresses, phone numbers); the easy way to do this is to use the program POImaker.

Drag the GPX or GDB files containing tracks and/or waypoints to the application window. The list shows the number of tracks and/or waypoints in the file. By clicking in the columns 'poi style', 'poi sub style' en 'track color' you will get a popup menu where you can pick a style or color.

When you've set all styles and colors, enter a map ID (or Family ID). This map ID needs to be unique; when you already have a map with this ID on your computer the program lets you know this and gives you (Windows only) the option to remove the other map (only the registry entries, not the files).

Next enter the name of the map (on the computer and on the device they can be different, but you can choose to use the same name twice).

The display of tracks (color, line width) on the computer/in your device is controlled by a TYP file. A few are included, but you can create your own with a TYP editor. More about this below.

Finally, click on the button 'Create map'. You have to select the folder where the map files will be placed.

IMGfromGPX performs a check on the tracks; track segments shorter than 1 metre will be merged.

Adding/modifying TYP files

There are a few TYP files included, but you can add your own TYP files.

You can create your own TYP filed with the program TYPviewer (Windows only). Use one of the included TYP files as a starting point.

Display of POIs

The program includes a large number of POI styles, based on the categories in the Oregon 550 and the zūmo 550. Some might not be available on your device so you have to experiment with it. In MapSource/BaseCamp they become visible only when you zoom in, but you can always find them via search.

Not all details of the POIs are included in the map, only the name, address and phone number. For instance the content of the comment field is not included.

Display of tracks

You can specify a single color for each file, but you can also let the program select a color based on the color you selected for the track in MapSource or BaseCamp. Select {none} in the popup menu to accomplish this.
Because the number of options is more restricted than with tracks in MapSource/BaseCamp and because the day/night view has to be taken into account a translation is made. See the manual.

In the popup menu for the track colors you will find some additional options with the suffix 'area'. These options will create transparent areas instead of lines. When you want a border around the areas, add the GPX or GDB file twice.
The automatic color assignment based on the track color does not work with areas.

Dapic car music system with GPS (model DL-9228NB) navigation hangs

I have recently purchased in dash 6.2" Dapic car music system with GPS (model DL-9228NB). I have received maps in SD card by the seller, which is Mireo BE 3.1 with 'MobliNavigator.exe' and 'india_mi_201110.cpf' as single all India map.

The GPS starts fine. But the problem is that after running for about 5 minutes, the map hangs/freezes. When I switch off & run again, it works fine for another appx 5 minutes & again hangs. During hang period, songs, radio etc running in background keep working fine.

It appears that the system has low memory to support the maps. Even hard reset is not of any help. The music system or its manual has no detail about memory available in the system.

I tried MMI V12 version, but its not readable by the system.

Somebody please help me.

2. Copy downloaded 3 files (menu.exe, menu.mscr, MortScript.exe) to My Flash Disk

4. Download new map with poi (Only .fbl and .poi) Because iGO8 working with this files

If you want a iGO Primo in sd card than open menu.mscr with notepad or notepad++ and change Run location.
Example: Run "\Storage Card\MobileNavigator\MobileNavigator.exe" to Run "\Storage Card\Primo\Primo.exe" Look first your Primo sd card location

If you want iGO from intern memory than first make a back-up and delete maps and copy MobileNavigator of a other iGO folder to your Medion interne memory with maps and open menu.mscr with notepad or notepad++ and change Run location ''\Storage Card'' to ''\My Flash Disk''

Crash on Galaxy Tab A6

Hello. I just installed iGO_9.6.29.596752_dj4b on a Galaxy Tab A6 and im having a small issue with it

After doing the initial setup iGO just crashes

Mention that it works on my Tab 2 7.0 perfectly

I copied iGO on the A6 ext card and installed apk in root

First run didnt work because the A6 is not rooted

Next steps:

Created content folder with map folder [base map inside] lang folder and voice folder [each with one file inside]

What's the problem iGO.exe or Maps?

Hello,

In the last couple of months I kept changing maps and iGo versions. I am a truck driver and drive trucks around Europe, especially in France, from Netherlands to France.

I use my own chinese GPS called PilotOn and also the truck-computer navigation: Trimble CarCube.
The CarCube has some Q2.2015 maps, that's all that I know. And my GPS uses Q3.2016TOMTOM and iGo primo don't know exactly what version. Now I saw that Here.q3.2016 had appeared. Now... What do I have to change to have a good routing GPS?
My bastard GPS sometimes preffers to route on shorter routes but slower as time. In some cities it routes me very well, keeping me on the wider roads.
I don't know what's my problem and I hate that I don't know that.

Any sugestions?
