XGODY European Maps Not Working

I have purchased an XGODY GPS unit. I have downloaded the navteq European maps that are supposed to work on my unit. Unfortunately, the map did not work.
Is there a way I can make these maps work?
I have looked at the European maps structure and it seems a little bit different from what I have already installed on my system. Could that be the reason why this has not worked?
by not working, I mean I click on navigation icon and nothing happens.
