Hello all,
I'm a new member of the Forum.
I'm seeking help trying to create a working copy of my Navigation DVD as the last disk I had got scratched. But my copies won't work they simply turn into coaters. I'm using ImgBurn to write on Verbatim DVD+R DL tried writing an "Image", also tried writing "files to disk" at speed of 3x or 2.4x... I know that I'm supposed to replace the 09Jog2.BIN and 09Touch2.BIN with the patched ones then burn it. But I can't find the patched files anywhere that I have googled.
I have a 2005 Acura RL with an Alpine DVD ROM and a Navteq Nav DVD
I'd like to use the copy and leave the original in a safe place so I don't have to spend money all the time buying new disks. Most of the time addresses are fine when I'm in Toronto and Vancouver but in alberta I use Google Maps on my phone because cities in Alberta are adding new streets every few months LoL! So I'm not as worried about the Map functionality as I am the fact that if the DVD gets scratched and the drive won't read it I lose the bluetooth in the car and the ability to adjust my stereo and many other things as the DVD rom controls the head unit in the car.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I only have 2 DVD+R Dl left LoL! So I could use some good info maybe where to find the proper .BIN files
Thanks for any help you guys can offer!
