Tom Tom older models

I purchased an older model TT One the other day and it was running Navcore 8010. It found the GPS Sat in seconds, even inside my lounge. I was so impressed that I just installed the latest 985 map and ran fastactivate and away it went.
At first it said the map was wrong so I updated Fastactivate again and patched everything. Then I opened TomTom Home and it did a couple of things (not sure now what) and then when I started it up it said the map was ok and loaded the Sat within seconds again.
I know this is an old navcore and some of you will say too old but I can tell you it works a charm.
I then had two other TT one's in the draw so deleted everything from them and copied all the data from this one to them and after a couple of Fastactivate runs again they both went just fine. And yes they loaded the sat within that first minute.
I always found before they took ages to find the Sat and really cheesed me off, well not anymore.
Anyone with an older TT and want's to see what I am talking about then give this navcore a go and you will be supprised.
I use one as a speedometer on the dash as my classic car as it is in Miles per hour and with an addon called "tripmaster" it was real quick to load and works fine and shows the speed in KPH.
