IGO9 problems:
I have a generic Chinese 2DIN android head unit. It came with iGo and in the course of trying to update it I borked it - ended up deleting basically everything in the iGo folder bar the APK. After many hours of searching on this forum I eventually managed to get the app working again with the Australian maps (also from here). However:
On startup the app says "Unsupported voice."
The only options available under voice settings say street signs not announced. I want them announced :)

IGO NextGen problems
I've also installed iGo NextGen (from here). The voice options also do not announce street names.
On startup, the app warns me the battery is critically low and I have to cancel shutdown within 5 seconds on the screen goes blank - still makes sounds when I touch the screen, it's just not showing anything.
* I've edited the ini file, commented out (;) the battery_shutdown_at=1 battery_shutdown_delay=5 lines. Tried adding that powermgm = 0 line wherever it's supposed to be
* I've gone into igo_gift/ux and removed device.zip - this is the worst as it doesn't show the warning, but the screen still goes blank after 5 seconds.

When pressing buttons or when it announces something or makes noise, the radio goes mute and stays mute. Changing navigation_audio_stream to any of the numbers 1-4 doesn't work.
* Interestingly: the first time it cuts out the music, there seems to be a delay before the navigation starts coming through - e.g. Music cuts out -> silence -> ".... over the speed limit" (cuts out the first 'You are').
* Also interestingly: after the music cuts out, if I go back to the radio it comes back at the reduced volume it's supposed to be temporarily set at. It stays at this reduced volume until I exit and restart the nav app.

Helps would be appreciated, thanks in advance and apologies but I can't spend another hour searching.

P.S. > I tried to put this in the help and support section, but it asked me to choose a non-existent prefix so it wouldn't let me post.
