Best SW version for HW type C (1T0035680 C)

Hi all,

I got an old RNS510 (about 7 or 8 years old) on my SEAT Altea, and it worked perfectly since las Friday.

No idea what was the original SW version as had no chance to check it.

Suddently it stopped working with the "Continuous boot loop", and I started panicking a little bit. I´ve started researching and I´ve found that My-GTI website has endless information about SW versions, how to resolve issue I had and I´ve upgraded to version 2760.

Luckily it kept by POI, music, maps (I´m on V6 right now), etc .

Then I´ve started reading about versions and version and I've seen that from 3XXX it starts reformating the HD and using the 3 partition layout (not a big deal), but then start reading warnings, and potential issues and after the anoyance of that weekend I want to try to be as secure as possible.

so there's the question:

- Which is the best version for this unit?

I'm planning to upgrade to 284X, but any suggestion?
