I have just purchased a new car with this system installed.
I want to update its firmware and then the maps.
I am having trouble updating the firmware.
i have downloaded the firmware and followed the instructions from this site:
The firmware is a disc image format .img and there is also a .ruf file included.
I have burnt both of thse files to both a CD and DVD as a data disk. when i try to burn it as an image it tells be that the fire type is not suitable for burning as a disc image.
I have tried, Img Burn, Nero and the native windows 10 burning software. all have failed.
If anyone could please advise, it would be greatly appreciated.
