I have a VW Golf 7 (model year 2016) with Composition Media head unit which is MirrorLink compatible. Whenever I connect my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact phone (running latest official firmware) and try to use Sygic Car Navigation (legally obtained copy - paid 69,99 EUR for it) I experience the same problem - only first voice message (voice guidance) is played correctly, all following messages are not played at all. It's like sound connection between Sygic software and head unit is broken... Other MirrorLink compatible applications work just fine. This situation is going on from June 2016 onwards. Contacted Sygic on many occasions yet nothing... The simply stopped replying to my messages once it became obvious that they are either not willing or not able to fix the issue. According to Sygic's opinion this is Sony's fault - non standard implementation of MirrorLink communication protocol. I can conform that the whole thing works OK if I set it up with a Samsung Galaxy S6. Even stranger - if I use Sygic Navigation (the one that is not MirrorLink certified) it works fine and without any sound issues, albeit only when the car is stationary.
Anyone out there with similar experience? Any known fix for the problem?
