What happened to me is not clear if relevant to firmware or navigator software....I have on SMEG+ IV2 SW 6.3.C.R11 and map release DbDw_53/Gr_412
I was far from home and, looking for a market, I used POI search function close to my position. I select the one close to my position and push "go to POI" or something like that....result? complete mismatch between the GPS position and the map, I guess something around 400-500 meters so impossible to use.
The only way to reset the navigation system was to disconnect the battery (following instruction on the manual due to certain timing).
Someone had similar bad experience? The bug is in the firmware or navigation SW?
I did not try once more to avoid any problem but I'll inform my dealer.
