Route planning

Hello new member here. I have installed the sygic nav set up on my phone. Android, galaxy s7.. I'm totally new to this. When I try to plan a route, starting point to destination, I keep getting an error saying one or more waypoints are incomplete, enter at least city. I'm hoping its something simple that I'm overlooking.
