Becker Map pilot conversion from US to EU specs

Dear all,

I recently purchased a Becker map pilot model M014 from a US seller in order to fit it to my W204 C class located and operated in Europe. The only problem is that the software does not allow me to load EU maps or change my location to Europe. I sent a related query to Becker and they answered that the device cannot operate in EU. Is there a way around this?
