How to unlock custom CID SD cards..?

Many of you already mastered the procedure how to use Samsung Evoplus SD cards (with changeable CID) for updating RNS 315. You also know that the same SD card can be formatted and re-used with a little help of old Nokia phone(s) or with custom kernel Ubuntu. Ok let's say that this is not a problem anymore if you have the right Evoplus SD card and the necessary accessories. But unfortunately these days is really hard to get the right Samsung Evoplus SD card as the vendor already patched the issue so the CID cannot be changed anymore if you get SD form a new stock.

As I bought many Samsung Evoplus SD card which they didn't work (mmc0:59b4) and wasted my money, I decided to go to the alternate option, that is buying SD from one the Alibaba sellers who offers pre-configured custom CID SD cards. I found one seller who was willing to sent me 20 pieces (min order is usually 50-100 pcs) and gave him info about the wanted CID and the card size. SD cards arrived and I tested them right away and off-course they worked perfectly in RNS 315 as I only just had to copy navpsf_update folder and lock the SD card under Linux.

But now a little problem with this SD cards if you wan't to re-use them for RNS 315. This SD cards cannot be unlocked like the Samsung Evoplus. I tried with my Nokia which is good for Samsung, but unfortunately not for these cards. I bought Micro SD Memory Card SLOT to TF Memory Card Extender Extension Cable so I can connect that classic size SD card to my Nokia which off-course has only micro SD card slot. This cable is suitable for that purpose:

So when I try to format the SD card my nokia says that the card is encrypted or corrupted and there is no way to force format like on Samsung..So I tried to unlock it in Custom Ubuntu with the command:

Quote:

Sudo -s
echo erase>/sys/bus/mmc/devices/mmc0*/lock
this however unlocks the card so the card is readable in Win. But now the fun part. I can format (slow, quick) the card and copy files back on the card, but when I tried to lock it again, the card is not visible in Linux anymore so I cannot lock it. The interesting thing is if I put the SD in the USB card reader than it becomes visible right away but the lock command doesn't work. If I put it directly to SD card slot it's not visible. I assume that this card is still partially locked so the linux doesn't see it if is connected to PCI bus.

So do you guys have any suggestions how on earth can I format this SD card that becomes visible in Linux? And sorry for short story long :)
