Lost on install and adding maps

I recently purchased an aftermarket head unit for my car with navigation. It came with sygic 8 and igo primo nextgen on the map card and they both work, but they don't have the maps for my area. I tried adding fbl files into the map folder but it doesn"t look like it worked unless theres steps im missing. Its running WinCE versions of both of these. If anybody can suggest anything or suggeset where I can get a whole install package that'll work and has updated maps for Indiana/Illinois (USA) I would really appreciate it.
