Maximum Size of the gmapsupp.img File?

I have the same problem with my Garmin Nuvi 205 as did Magixz below. Does anybody know if i update the firmware, it will accept larger maps image size over 2gig map image size, my GPS firmware has never been updated FYI, yet it sees 4 & 8 & 16 gig MicroSD cards perfectly fine, it just can't read the map images if it's over 2 gig in size, i see other people have said the same thing but nobody really answers on the solution. So would updating the firmware make a difference or am i SOL. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I tried a 3gb file on a nuvi 750, works perfectly.
But the same SD card refuse to allow my nuvi 205W to boot up.
It blanks out after the loading map screen appears.

Both units are using FAT32 file system.
