Changing sounds and add new sounds in versions of Sygic
This will work for:
Sygic New UI
SygicInCar
Sygic Truck
Sygic Navigation
Std voice sounds I have made:
Sounds to download
off road.ogg
railroad.ogg
sharp curve ahead.ogg
speed limit.ogg
Speedcamera.ogg
traffic ahead.ogg
Copy these or the ones you have made up to \SygicIncar\res\sounds\ <-----------copy them here
or
Copy these or the ones you have made up to \SygicNavigation\res\sounds\ <-----------copy them here
or
Copy these or the ones you have made up to \SygicTruck\res\sounds\ <-----------copy them here
or
Copy these or the ones you have made up to removable SD card Android/data/com.sygic.aura/res/sounds/ <-----------copy them here
Start SygicInCar or Sygic Truck or Sygic Navigation or Sygic New UI
1. go to Settings
2. then Notification & Sounds
3. Pick Speed cameras
4. Click on Sound and replace with Speedcamera.ogg
5. click on Back
6. go to the next one Speed limits
7. Click on Sound and replace with speed limit.ogg
8. click on Back and add the next sound etc etc.
You can record your voice or your girlfriends voice and replace what I have made.
Most Smartphones have a recorder.
Plus you can put it in the language you need by recording them in your language.
Next we go to:Points of interest
Settings, Notification & Sounds and then:
Open Points of interest
In here are the Extra poi's you have installed along with the STD poi's that came with Sygic.
link
But please note this will not work for Sygic with new UI they have left this out.
It will only work for:
SygicInCar
Sygic Truck
Sygic Navigation
Tap on each one of the poi's and change the sound to what you have recorded.
Example:
Pick GolfClubsCourses
A window of all your recorded sounds witll show up
Pick the one you want to use and then Back
Now you have the sound you want and you can set the radius.
This also works for all the std poi's that came with Sygic
But remember you need to make recording for each one you want to use or leave it with the default sound that is "mute"
I will leave it up to you.....
