ANDROID newbie to car gps

Hi all, for xmas I had a replacement android head unit for my car with gps, on the sd card it says IGO PRIMO 800-480 . It is a Chinese unit and the gps works a treat, I find the speed camera options on the unit but if I look on the sd card there are no speed cameras, also noticed the maps are 2 yrs old, is there a way of updating the maps and downloading the speed cameras for the uk ? I'm new to this as my previous car had it all built in !
