I've just taken delivery of a 'New C4 Picasso BlueHDi - Feel', which has the TomTom based SatNav. Apart from being a week before the Dealer realised that they had to activate the TomTom traffice, I'm not convinced that the firmware is the latest. Due to a slight dent on delivery from the transporter, I was given a Grand Picasso loan car for a few days, the software of which felt newer.
On my now-de-dented new car, the System version is 5.15.29.42-r0 (dated 1970-01-01 !), and the mapping is V966.7352-prod Dated 2016-04-13. There seems to be no Risk Areas file, but the dealer doesn't know how to get it working.
Is it a SMEG unit, if so, which one, and are there any firmware updates available for it?
As for Map Updates, I've logged in to my MyCitroen account, clicked on Mapcare which says it's not available for my car - and to go to Citroen | Home. I then 'identify my product' as Connect Nav and the next page tells me "Please connect to your Citroen.com Personal Account or visit your distributor to get your navigation system map updates". ARGH - infinate loop.
Not a lot to ask ;)
Thanks
