Hi,
I try to use my own loading screen.
Following the tutorial I made a bmp in 5 versions for different sizes, although xhdpi would be enough I think, as my screen is 960* 540, with ~256 dpi. I started with landscape bitmaps in 24 bits format and decently translated to RLE format. Replaced the original bitmaps in pioneer_mobile_skin.zip with the new ones.
Starting iGO , helding the device in portrait position the old bitmaps were shown; starting iGO with the device in landscape position iGO refused to start.
Then I investigated the original bitmaps, these were 32 bits with A channel. So I converted the bitmaps to 32 bits. Unfortunately this did not add the A channel. I do not know whether the number of bits and the A channel are important. The result was the same; no success.
In further testing I renamed pioneer_mobile_skin.zip and pioneer_skin.zip. Big surprise, when starting the old bitmaps are shown
Here the bitmap I want to use:
Can somebody help me?
