iGO primo has no cache memory.

Hi all. I can't seem to get iGO primo 9.6.29.x to save any cache memory. It doesn't matter whether the iGO files are internal or external or both. I have tried various apks (standard & "tweaked") and matching files, but it still won't save any cache, even though there is a "save" folder. This means I've had to redo the configurations each time its opened.
Nextgen versions don't have any issues, neither does Sygic.

I have a Lenovo tab 3 essential running 5.0. I have even done a factory reset of it, to no avail.

Any hints or tips greatly appreciated, as I've been trying to fix this for more than a week, now.

PS. It's (iGO 9.6.29.595985) working well on a chinese 2din head unit, along with Sygic and TomTom.
