I have a Caska Radio/GPS unit in my car. Recently I lost the micro SD card somewhere between my car and my office. I tried to restore my backup (which I painstakingly keeps up to date) to a new SD card, but the unit rejected the card as "not licenced". I contacted the Caska dealers in South Africa, and they claim that I can only restore my backups to the original card (so what was the point of making backups?), and that I had to buy a new licenced card from them for R1300.
Is there any way that I can make a replacement SD card myself if that micoscopic little card gets lost again? Because R1300 for that tiny little thing is just a bit outragious. And it is not as if I have not paid already for the information on the card . . . twice now . . .
