hi, all
has anyone got experience with Soviet maps?
i found some scanned HI-Resolution Soviet Military Maps online for Washington DC(link below) and I'd like to calibrate it to use with my mobile device.
As i understand, Soviet Map use Pulkovo 42 datum, so i set the datum in the Ozi explorer calibration window. the map itself have both lat/long coordinates and numbers which i think it's UTM embedded, after i entered the UTM for four corner in the Ozi, the resultant map has a deviation. same deviation occurs when i use lat/long coordinates.
Any ideas?
