iGO Basarsoft not announcing directions

Hi, I am currently using Basarsoft 9.6.29.468978 and the one problem I am having is that it is not announcing voice directions or the distance sometimes. When entering a roundabout it says the exit number, and not the distance or the direction. Also when approaching a junction it just says '300 yards' and not 'Turn Right in 3oo yards'. I tried muting the music from my headunit and radio, but the problem is still there. Please help
