Old Nuvi 350 doesn't recognize unlocked map

I have an old Nuvi 350 that I use on my motorcycle. The maps were out of date and I found newer unlocked map on the net.
Load the gmapsupp.img on the sd card but the gps doesn't show it in map info.
I loaded back the previous unlocked map (2014) and it came back to normal.
I know it's an old device but sometimes it's easier to mod.
Wanted to know if there's a way to refresh the maps
