After lot of testing, trying and modifying I managed it to get iGO Nextgen v9.18.27.627562 working on Android 5.1.1 with SDcard method. So content is on SDcard and program on internal memory.

Tutorial with pictures for installation. Follow the tutorial exactly step by step. If you don't do that, IGO will have problems. For example, if you do not delete the "save" folder as mentioned in tutorial: Time sync will be wrong.
