Tomtom go 825 has just stopped connecting with my drive connect. It will show up in device manager as a usb connected in ports (com/lpt) and also shows in 'hardware and sound' as an unspecified device. Tried to update drivers here but no luck. Still not showing as connected in my drive. Just a spinning circle.
Tried a fresh install of my drive connect but during instalation computer says pre install driver error. I think this maybe stopping the sat nav fully connecting with the tomtom application. Any ideas please ? I
also did a sfc check and windows 10 update but all seem ok. Anti virus and firewall is off. Cable is good and unfortunatly Im not able to try a different computer. Finally I tried an older mydrive connect download, but this also shows the error installing the driver at the end of the install process (pre install driver error ).
