Update Europe to West Europe?

Hi,

I am quite newbie to this and am reading through the forums. I have f30 NBT idrive with Route Europe 2014-2. I am thinking to update to Route West Europe 2019-2 , will it work or I should stick to Europe one?
My other question is, I have connected services enabled on my car and I can have the map update through usb from BMW store for ~55 (euro), can anyone tell me what the difference ? is it the same update? did anyone try this before? will BM store will send me a life time fsc code?

does FSC code differ from map to map?
