Can a Garmin NuviCam be modded to a DezlCam?

Hi,

I looked at the Garmin website, and seeing that the new Garming DezlCam looks identical to the nuviCam, I was wondering if such a unit can be modded into running the Dezlcam provided it contains identical hardware?
